Pear Sauce with Cardamom (Vegan & Sugar Free)

This is a simple, delicious and healthy recipe for a pear sauce/jam.

  • 3 Pears peeled (optional) and diced
  • 1 tsp Freshly ground cardamom seeds
  • 2 tbsp Water


  • Peel (optional) the pears and dice them.
  • Ground the cardamom seeds preferably using a mortel.
  • Bring water to a boil in a pot.
  • Add the pears and cardamom and lower the heat. Let it shimmer until pears are soft and most of the water has evaporated.
  • Mix using a hand mixer until smooth.
  • Let it cool, place in a jar and store in the fridge.
