4medium sizedApples (the ones you like, preferably sweeter ones since there is no sugar added)peeled and finely diced

Instructions
Peel and thinly dice the apples.
Preheat a pot with about 3-4 tablespoons of water in it over medium heat.
Lower the heat and add the apples and cinnamon (if using) and let them shimmer for 20 mintes (or until soft and the water has evaporated)
Transfer the apple sauce to a jar if you prefer the apple sauce with chuncks. If you prefer it smooth or use it for baking mix it with a handmixer until smooth and then transfer to a jar.
Let it cool completely before storing it in a fridge.
