Apple Sauce (Sugar Free)

This is a quick, easy and sugar free recipe for a delicous apple sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 medium sized Apples (the ones you like, preferably sweeter ones since there is no sugar added) peeled and finely diced
  • 1-2 tsp Cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  • Peel and thinly dice the apples.
  • Preheat a pot with about 3-4 tablespoons of water in it over medium heat.
  • Lower the heat and add the apples and cinnamon (if using) and let them shimmer for 20 mintes (or until soft and the water has evaporated)
  • Transfer the apple sauce to a jar if you prefer the apple sauce with chuncks. If you prefer it smooth or use it for baking mix it with a handmixer until smooth and then transfer to a jar.
  • Let it cool completely before storing it in a fridge.
