10-15Plums (depending on the size)cut in half and pitted

2-3tbspMonk fruit sweetener (or more if you prefer it sweeter)
1-2tspCinnamon (optional)
1cmFreshly grated ginger (optional)
Instructions
Bring water to a boil in a pot.
Add the pitted plums, sweetener, cinnamon and ginger to the pot and lower the heat. Pour the water into the pot and make sure it covered the plums.
Bring to a low boil, then lower the heat and let the plums simmer for 10-20 minutes. The plums should be soft and tender, but still firm and hold together. The water should have reduced and thickened slightly.
