This recipe is for delicious, easy and quick Fresh Figs with Goat Cheese & Prosciutto. These cute little appetizers/snacks are easy to make and only requires four main ingredients. They are perfect to serve as appetizers or finger food. They are both gluten and grain free.

I love fig season and try to make the most out of it! They’re wonderful to use both for savory and sweet purposes and really easy to incorporate in your cooking and baking. Figs can easily lift a quite bland and boring dish and make it exciting and delicious. One of my favorite ways of to combine figs is with cheese. The combination of sweet and savory creates a wonderful combinations just melting in your mouth. This one is no exception! The combination of fresh juicy figs together with the tangy goat cheese and salty prosciutto is amazing. You have a wonderful mix of tastes and textures that create the perfect bite that will melt in your mouth. I also love to add some fresh basil and thick balsamic vinegar or honey on top. An appetizer/snack should according to me not be too heavy. It should be something light and easy, just to get your appetite going. Thats why I love to add some fresh and light ingredients when including cheese and charcuteries. This appetizer with fresh and light figs with the rich and savory goat cheese and salty prosciutto has just the right balance of freshness yet complex and heavier tastes from the goat cheese and prosciutto.
