Sugar Snap Salad with Lemon & Chive Dip

Simple and easy doesn’t equal boring. My philosophy is that less is more. I love cooking with a few good quality key ingredients and let them speak for themselves. Here is an easy and quick appetizer/snack or side salad that comes together in a blink and only includes six ingredients.

It has some sweet tones and crunchiness from the sugar snaps and snow peas, some peppery notes from the arugula and freshness from the dip.

Ingredients for the Sugar Snap Salad with Lemon & Chive Dip:

  • Sugar snaps
  • Snow peas
  • Arugula
  • (Vegan) Yoghurt
  • Lemon
  • Chives
  • Salt (optional)

Sugar Snap Salad with Lemon & Chive Dip

  • A hand full of Arugula
  • 8 Sugar snaps
  • 8 Snow peas
  • 2 tbsp Vegan yoghurt
  • 0,5 Lemon, juiced
  • 0,5 Lemon, zest
  • 1 tsp Chives finesly sliced


  • Combine yoghurt, lemon juice, lemon zest, chives and salt (if using) in a small bowl.
  • Put the arugula on a plate.
  • Put sugar snaps on top.
  • Serve with the lemon & chive dip.
