Galia Melon & Mozzarella Salad (Gluten, Grain Free & Low Carb)

This is a delicious, fresh and quick Galia Melon & Mozzarella Salad. It only take 5 minutes and requires three main ingredients. It is perfect to serve for lunch, as a starter or side dish to your main course. It is both gluten, grain free and low carb.

This salad is a true winner. Not only is it ready in only five minutes, only requires three main ingredients and is super easy to make. It also is both delicious, flavorful and refreshing at the same time. The combination of sweet and cold Galia melon and the creamy, soft and delicate mozzarella is a true killer combo. This salad is really perfect to serve for a light and refreshing lunch, as a small starter or along with your main course. It is both gluten, grain free and low carb.

A few tips:

  • Use good quality mozzarella balls. Since this salad only include three ingredients the quality of them has to be good. That will make the biggest difference and make the salad super tasty and flavorful.
  • Use ripe and sweet Galia melon.
  • I used a melon baller when cutting out the melon. But you can also use a spoon or just cut the salad using a knife.
  • I did not add any olive oil or any other condiment to the salad. But if you like some good olive oil or balsamic vinegar it will pair so well with this salad.

  • Mozzarella balls

  • Freshly ground pepper

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Galia Melon
  • 10 Mozzarella balls
  • A hand full of Green leafs
  • Freshly ground pepper

Instructions

  • Put the green leafs on a plate.
  • Make small balls using a teaspoon or a melon baller, or just cut into dices. Add to the plate.
  • Add mozzarella balls.
  • Season with freshly ground pepper.
  • I also added thick balsamic vinegar. Everything is better with some balsamic vinegar according to me.
