Skagenröra Seed Cracker Bites

Skagenröra is a Swedish shrimp salas invented in the 50s by a chef named Tore Wretman. The original recipe consists of shrimps, howe made mayonnaise and dill. But today other ingredients like fish roe, creme fraîche chives are commonly used when making Skagen. The most classic way of eating Skagenröra is by having “Toast Skagen” as an appetizer or light lunch. My version of the salad is a healthier alternative, but it still has a lot of the classic flavors.

I were making appetizer and finger foods so I chose to serve the Skagenröra on seed crackers and lettuce leafs.
